PUBLIC VOICE Lab - Internationaler Medienverbund reg.Gen.m.b.H.

PUBLIC VOICE Lab builds, hosts, and manages solutions for on-line communities. Our mission is to support professional internet and media users who collaborate virtually by using solutions based on open source software.

We analyse the social shaping of new ICTs that lead to efficient applications and services which support and enhance communication among and between citizens, city administrations, media producers, and consumers, as well as specific target groups, such as artists.

To this end, PUBLIC VOICE Lab offers to a number of its clients, such as cultural organisations, discussion forums, feedback channels, chat-rooms, streaming solutions, audio-visual repositories, information and exchange boards and personal areas accessible via fax, telephone, and the World Wide Web.

PUBLIC VOICE Lab stresses user-friendly mediation and representative implementation of its solutions. Serving a research and customer network of more than 100 partners and members, PUBLIC VOICE Lab is grounded with interdisciplinary competence and driven by market forces.

Within international research projects, PUBLIC VOICE Lab focuses on moderation of users and developers in all phases of a project, starting with user requirements, during development reviews and ending up with demonstration and successful exploitation activities.

PUBLIC VOICE Lab offers the full range of internet hosting services including streaming solutions, special services for project and group management, and professional support on-site.

Together with our partners we develop open source software, create innovative multi-media content, work out marketing concepts, organise media events and participate in media art festivals and international standardisation activities.
